Visit our Gallery

Each season our Visual Arts Gallery offers a vast range of artwork created by local and national artists, ranging from painting to printmaking and installations to video – specialising in 2D. We want to give you the opportunity to experience new and exciting art from all across the country, whilst also offering visitors and members alike the chance to purchase the work – often with smaller prints available also.

The gallery is a space for you to come and lose your thoughts and imagination. Entry to this relaxing space is free, meaning you can take advantage of this at any time within our opening hours.

Take a look around

In our main Box Office area we also have beautiful crafts on offer, displayed in our craft boxes. These are all made by local artists – some of whom have also exhibited in our gallery space – with new exhibitors showing and giving you the chance to purchase their work regularly. Jewellery, pottery, fashion and other unique designs are on offer in an ever-changing display.

On approaching the building from the west side (opposite the Market Place area) have a look at our Window Wall display space. These will often house artworks created by professionals and also community-made work produced throughout the year.
