Queer art collective SCRAPS returns to the Cornerstone after their debut exhibition at Oxfordshire Artweeks.
Sometimes you can feel like all life has given you is scraps. When you face invisible battles every day, like inaccessibility and queerphobia, it can feel like you’re working with nothing.
But scraps are powerful. They can be pieced back together into something beautiful and strong and unique. The ordinary can be gorgeous.
Set up like a house to explore, this exhibition promises sensory and tactile pieces designed to make you feel, with themes of domesticity, identity, and found family.
Most of the work displayed uses found or second hand materials.
