DCO brings together the very best players in the area to give high quality performances of a mixture of well-known concert classics and tuneful, unjustly neglected works.
DCO's next concert, "British Symphonic Discoveries", will include The Three Elizabeths Suite by Eric Coates (as tuneful as his well-known Dambusters March and By the Sleepy Lagoon), Sir Hamilton Harty's With the Wild Geese, Frederick Delius' Florida Suite and Sir Edward Elgar's Pomp and Circumstance March no 1 ("Land of Hope and Glory") as featured in the Proms and Classic FM's Hall of Fame.
