Didcot Festival of Cultures

What makes Didcot special? The people who call it home.

Over the past two decades our town has welcomed people from across Britain and around the world, each bringing their own traditions, flavours, music and stories. Join us on Saturday 11th July 2026, when we’ll be throwing open the doors of Cornerstone Arts Centre to celebrate Didcot’s global and historical story.

Didcot Festival of Cultures is a free, family-friendly day of performances, workshops, food and community; running from 10am to 3pm across Cornerstone Arts Centre’s building and the courtyard outside. Expect live music, dance, cultural displays, participatory workshops and a mouth-watering lineup of food stalls representing the incredible diversity of our town and surrounding villages.

With contributions from local community groups and businesses, alongside professional artists, the day will offer something for everyone. So, whether you want to watch, take part, taste something new, or simply soak up the atmosphere – you’ll be sure to find something you love.

Organised by the Didcot Interfaith Group in partnership with Didcot Town Council, South Oxfordshire District Council and Cornerstone Arts Centre, this is a day for everyone – whatever your background, wherever you’re from and however long you’ve called Didcot home.

Stay tuned: a full programme of events will be announced soon.
