Cornerstone Arts Centre invites school children to design the ‘Panto of the Future’
School children across South Oxfordshire are being invited to unleash their creativity and design a poster for the ‘Panto of the Future’, as Cornerstone Arts Centre prepares for an exciting new chapter with the installation of greener energy technology.
Work began in August to install air source heat pumps and solar panels at the landmark Didcot building, owned by South Oxfordshire District Council. As Cornerstone looks towards a more sustainable future, it’s asking local children to imagine what the pantomimes of tomorrow might look like.
Children aged 12 and under who live in South Oxfordshire are invited to take part in the competition by creating an imaginative poster for their very own panto of the future.
All entries will be showcased on the Cornerstone website, with one lucky winner taking home a family ticket for four to see Jack and the Beanstalk, Cornerstone’s 2026 pantomime. The winning design will be chosen for its creativity and originality.
The competition is open until 1 November 2026.
To enter, simply email your design to communications@southandvale.gov.uk with the subject line Panto of the Future.
The winning family ticket can be used for a performance between 27 and 30 December 2026.
