Warneford 200: Mental Health Through the Ages Jane Freebody
Tuesday 4 August to Saturday 3 October
Step into 200 years of mental health history in Oxfordshire.
This exhibition traces the story of the Warneford Hospital from its early 19th-century beginnings to its role today at the heart of mental health care and research. Through archival images, personal stories, and historic objects, Warneford 200 invites visitors to explore how the understanding and treatment of mental health have evolved and to meet the people who made that journey possible.
Presented by Oxford Health Charity, curated by the History of Science Museum, University of Oxford, and supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
