MultakaOxford – International Women’s Group
Barayeham (برای هم) is an International Women’s Group in Didcot. Barayeham means “together” and that’s exactly what this group is about.
It is part of the national Multaka Project, which brings people together through shared creativity, storytelling and community.
The group offers a safe, friendly space where women from refugee and migrant backgrounds, and the wider community, can meet, chat, relax and connect.
What happens at Barayeham?

About MultakaOxford
MultakaOxford is based at the Pitt Rivers Museum and the History of Science Museum Museum, part of Oxford University. The term Multaka translates from Arabic to English as ‘meeting point’.
The projects key aim is to bring people and communities together, to strengthen understanding through inter-cultural dialogue through the mutual sharing of art, stories, culture and science in the museums.
