The Art Centre Director will be responsible for a wide range of tasks – being ultimately responsible for the artistic, financial and operational management of the arts venue, providing strategic and expert advice on arts issues, and the future delivery of Cornerstone and the two arts services. They will programme professional shows and effectively manage the budgets and staff.
The ideal candidate will have an in depth knowledge of arts programmes and practices and at least four years’ management of, or within, a multi-genre arts venue open to the public. They will have a degree in the arts, or a similar qualification or level of experience, and excellent numeracy, literacy, communication and IT skills.
