Easter Family Fun at Cornerstone

With the Easter holidays fast approaching we've got lots of fun activities for all ages to get involved with whether through crafting or fun family-friendly shows.

Our Easter line up kicks off with Grooving With Pirates a funk-fuelled show that is part music show part magical animated adventure for all ages. Follow three pirate friends on a dangerous mission to find some treasure! A tale of friendship, loyalty and a magic chest on Sunday 24 March at 11am.

Continuing on with this magical theme over the Easter holiday you can visit The Museum of Marvellous Things on Sunday 7 April at 1pm. With giant puppets, magical effects, interactive storytelling, LIVE original music and a chance to make your own special puppet, this is a fun-filled family show based on the picture book by Kristina Stephenson where everything your imagination can conjure comes to life.

If you’re looking for something crafty to do over the Easter holidays but without the mess at home then join us on Wednesday 10 April at 11am for Decorate Your Own Bug House. A simple arty session to unleash your inner bug lover - create your own beautiful bug house. All materials are provided, just make sure your child wears something you don't mind them getting messy!

We're rounding off the Easter holidays with a bang a beloved nursery rhyme brought to life There Was An Old Lady Swallowed A Fly on Friday 12 April at 2.30pm. In this enchanting stage adaptation, aliens from a distant world have crash-landed on earth and need our help to get home. But there’s a problem. Their rocket runs on stories, not fuel, and only the greatest story in the universe will be enough to save them! With a captivating combination of live action, animation and puppetry, this magical re-telling of There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly is sure to surprise and delight children and nostalgic adults in equal measure.
