We’re so excited to be working alongside South Oxfordshire District Council and the Didcot Garden Town team again this year, to bring you Didcot Garden Party 2024!

From Saturday 27 July to Saturday 31 August you can expect a timetable of exciting events and activities taking place across Didcot and surrounding villages. We will be hosting a selection of these - from theatre shows, to live music and community-building events - suitable for both children and adults. Plus, almost all of the events are completely free!

Join us on the Launch Day (Sat 27 Jul, 10am-3pm) for a variety of shows and activities for all ages.

The Carnival of Animals will share with you their stories of courage and adventure, and delight you with songs of celebration and friendship with two performances at midday and 2.30pm.

Plus, you can make your own flag to wave during the performance at our Make and Take Workshop. Whilst you're there, you might run into a rather Naughty Flock of Sheep, making mischief all around the Arts Centre in this walkabout performance. Don't say we didn't warn you!

There is fun for adults too, with our Launch Day Live Music with DJ Strange playing music throughout the day, and don't forget Cafe Nourish will be open too so sit back and enjoy the music with some delicious refreshments!

There are plenty more family shows taking place in August too! Quentin Blake's Mrs Armitage on Wheels uses live music, puppetry and physical comedy to celebrate the power of imagination and the importance of resilience. The Guy in the Luggage Rack is suitable adults and young people alike, combining striking aerial acrobatics with physical comedy, and a moving story of grief and memory.

The fantastic live music also continues throughout the month! Enjoy the chilled grooves of The Funkinsteins, the Spanish acoustic, Latin, Rumba and Bossa Nova fusion of The Flamenco Thief, or even show off your own talents at our Open Mic Night

Community is at the heart of Didcot Garden Party. Join us for Fusion Fest, an electrifying celebration of the global cultures in our communities, and Communities Come Together Day, to find out about lots of organisations that can provide support and clubs available for you to join.

We can't wait to welcome you for another summer of fun! Find out more information from South Oxfordshire District Council, about everything that is going on during the Garden Party.
